Camping Near Lake Cleveland, ID

Gordon and I decided on the spur of the moment to go camping in the mountains to the southeast of us. We camped nearby Lake Cleveland, a beautiful lake that could easily be mistaken for one in Colorado. Our campsite was located at about 9500 feet. We were glad to be there because it was over 100 degrees at home! We had a great time with the exception of the college kids that were camped next to us. They decided to party until 5:30 in the morning! We were tired, but enjoyed the morning and spent the rest of the day at Lake Cleveland. Gordon caught a couple of cutthroat trout. The boys fished too. Preston had cast out while standing on a rock and lost his footing. He made a good splash when he fell in the water! Luckily it was only about 5 inches deep and he didn't get hurt. I told him since he was wet anyway, he might as well go swimming. Both of the boys took their pants and socks off and waded around in the water in their underwear and shirts to keep cool. We had a great time and we are looking forward to camping there again! (Minus the foul-mouthed college kids)
