Jackson's Big Day

It's hard to believe that my 2lb 11oz baby is 5 years old! We took cupcakes into his preschool class. Jack chose strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Yum! I took the day off so I could go in to his classroom. It was a lot of fun!

After school, he opened his presents from us. He got a Ben 10 watch and a paint set.

For dinner we all went to McDonald's. His friend Robert and Aunt Katie were there as well. The boys all had a lot of fun playing in the playground!

When we got home, we sang "Happy Birthday" and had cupcakes...again! It was a fun day and as you can see, Jack enjoyed his cupcake!
Jackson is doing so well. His health has improved so much. We hardly ever have to deal with asthma attacks anymore. He loves to draw and paint, play outside with his brothers, go on bike rides and build forts. He is writing his name and can identify his letters. He's also getting really good at counting. What a fun guy!

Star Wars/Bowling Birthday

Since Preston and Jackson's birthdays are only 9 days apart, we usually have a combined party with their friends and celebrate with just family on their individual birthdays. This year we went bowling. It was a lot of fun and they definitely have their own unique bowling style.

Austin had fun even though he couldn't bowl. He ran all around the bowling alley. We took turns running after him.
They boys wanted a Stars Wars themed party. Their Aunt Katie found some decorations for the party and I was able to find the cupcake toppers online. I just got this cupcake stand and I think it turned out cute. We all had a great time!

Here's some video of the boys bowling.

Preston's Big Day

Preston had his 6th birthday today! He is getting to be such a big boy! His day started off with a party at his school. He had a special birthday hat that he got to wear and his teacher gave him a little gift.

For dinner we had his friends meet us at McDonald's and they had a great time playing in the indoor playground.
We then had cupcakes and ice cream at my parent's house and opened presents. Preston picked out a strawberry cake and strawberry icing. It had been so long since I had had strawberry cake. It was delicious! I'll have to make it more often!

I think Jackson was just as excited as Preston to open presents! His big day is just 9 days away!

This past year Preston started Kindergarten, learned how to ride a bike, began reading accelerated readers, started making his own sandwiches, and is a big help with his little brothers. He is very interested in the solar system and the weather. He enjoys watching the Weather Channel just as much as he enjoys cartoons! I can't imagine what new and exciting things he will be doing this next year!

Winding Down

Another basketball season is starting to wind down. Gordon's been busy coaching the freshman team since November. It's a large time commitment, so I'll be happy to have my husband back after this month. His team has played well and shown a lot of growth since the beginning of the season.

Gordon went out with his buddy, Robert, yesterday to do some fly fishing near Hagerman, ID. He said that they were in a great spot and caught fish all day. Here are some pics of the two of them and one of the many fish they caught.
